25 Years!

Greetings New Hope Lutherans and Friends
Wow! Our New Hope Anniversary; #25. 15 December 2024.
Christians from several congregations formed an amalgamated New Hope Lutheran. 25 years ago our adventure in faith was launched.
Precious Christians were gathered by the Spirit. Some are still here. Some moved on. Some transitioned to the Church Triumphant. We have new folks, like me. 25 years ago, I was celebrating Christmas while stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington. We have arrived from diverse journeys, and meet in this same place. Ah….the mysterious handiwork of God in our lives!
A special welcome to former members and those who have not recently attended. We’ll have church services for Advent and then a time of fellowship. Food provided by a Spanish speaking congregation. I hope to hear stories about the past.
Jesus was perfect. Christ’s church (us) is not. Yet we are all saved by grace and all are proclaimed BELOVED by God. Therefore, since we are redeemed Christians, we joyously proceed in faith and trust to continuously reform, repent, forgive, pray, worship, serve, confess sins and faith, outreach, and other Christian dynamics. Such is God’s love guiding us. YOU are welcomed!
