Greetings New Hope Lutheran and Friends
A recent blessing upon New Hope facilities is the revised concrete steps. They are wider; thus
far safer. We still have the ramp walkway leading to the office spaces and fellowship building.
A big thanks to the generous benefactor and all who contributed to the concrete updates. We
are a safe and welcoming congregation.

How are we safe? Well, we ensure that people are loved and respected. They are treated with
kindness. In fact, we recently approved guidelines for civility and interactions. We behave
ourselves.

How are we welcoming? Well, we serve open Communion. We believe that we are trusted
with the presentation of the Lord’s Supper. We invite all Christians who come to the table.
With our unique set of genes and experiences, each one of us is created in the image of God,
out of TRILLIONs of genetic and experiential possibilities. Thus, we are a varied bunch
regarding talents, gender perspectives, ideologies about political notions, favorite colors and
foods, favorite music and movies, hobbies, and literally thousands more diverse dynamics.
What we have exactly in common is that we are ALL BELOVED by God. So, we love God,
ourselves, and others.

Welcome. Amen!
